How to better manage stress workshop

For so many of us, being stressed feels normal.
When we've been in a stressful state for an extended period of time, the human brain stops acknowledging it as stressful. A certain amount of stress comes with high performance and can be good for us. On the other hand, chronic stress can wreak havoc on the body and on the mind. When we are chronically stressed, we fall into a state of exhaustion, creating harmful effects on our muscle, the immune system, and digestive systems. This is why we are more likely to have anxiety, get sick, sleep poorly, gain weight, and function sub optimally day to day if we are constantly stressed !
